Hand-crafted Design

After the design process here in Palisade, each frame is hand made. A process that takes over 12 hours, we start from a slab of Italian Mazzuchelli acetate, cut, sand, wet-sand, and polish the frames in a spinning wood chip barrel. Each frame represents the attention to detail, careful assembly, and years of dedicated craftsmanship.

On each frame, you may notice a feather behind your right ear—a symbol of freedom, honor, and spiritual connection to those who came before us and our duty to carry forward with virtue. The frame names in each collection inspired by the amazing opticians who continue to bring this idea to life.
